Beginning at 2:00 p.m. EST, 9/11 through 9/15, RVers at “America’s Largest RV Show” can attend a special seminar about getting the most from their retirement years while enjoying their RVs. Each day, the 50-minute session will take place in the Power Play Room at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Speaker Tim Wilson will be discussing the pros and cons of various options including full timing, snow-birding, work camping, and home basing in an RV community.

As Developer and Principal Broker of the Gardens RV Village (https://gardensrvvillage.com/) Wilson has been on the national speakers’ circuit for almost two decades. His focus is to discuss how to get the most out of retiring while still enjoying RV travel and having the security a well-built home as an asset.

“I’ve spoken to thousands of couples over the years about RVing. I often explain how a home base community like the Gardens might make sense for maximizing their retirement years,” he says. “You need to remind people of how travel enhances their lives and their relationships. It’s not difficult to show how living in a luxury RV community in Tennessee – a top state for retirees – makes economic sense.”

After discussing the benefits of living in Tennessee, such as low property taxes (the annual city and county taxes for a $400,000 home come to a little more than $1,000), Wilson mentions there is no state income tax on pensions. He tells how the Gardens is centrally located on the Cumberland Plateau of Eastern Tennessee. Its Crossville location offers the best of all worlds: quick and easy access to more than one Interstate; proximity to several major cities, including Nashville and Knoxville and a warm, friendly town of 10,000.
